This photo is one of my favorite lomo shots because it’s one picture, among the many pictures that I have, where I actually look thin! :lol:

Of diet pills, cars crashing, lomography and being an sahm

On: September 8th, 2008 at 3:48 pm | In: health and diet,my adoraBOY,the husband

A lot of people have been discouraging me to go ahead with my diet pills plan, but I so want to push through with it — especially when I see my big self on photos.  I really want to have my old body back!

~~~
My big girl has been in the repair shop for almost a month now, and I can’t wait until she comes home.  See, we crashed her into an unsuspecting taxi a month back.  We didn’t notice that the vehicle came to a full stop after it had bumped into another car.  Gats was driving our car at 60kph, and while he tried to avoid collision, it couldn’t be avoided.  Praise God that we weren’t hurt.
I accompanied the little boy to school a couple of weeks back while the yaya was resting due to a really bad case of tonsilitis.  I enjoyed waking up in the mornings to prepare his baon, give him a bath and dress him up.  I enjoyed watching him dance, sing, paint, and play inside the classroom.  While at home, I was happy that I got to feed him, give him a nap, and play with him.  Sure, we got into fights almost everyday :lol: , and taking care of him was pretty tiring, but I loved being just with him.  It was during this week that I found myself saying that I could actually enjoy being a stay-at-home-mom :D
~~~

The husband is really into this lomography thing.  He has purchased several cameras online and shows no signs of stopping.  In fact, he surfs the web every day and night for camera finds.  And just last week, he asked permission to attend a lomo event this Friday with a bunch of friends.  He’s never done anything like this before so this hobby must really mean something to him.  I ain’t complaining despite the constant use of my paypal funds :D   His hobby is relatively cheap (well, compared with mine :D ), makes him happy, and most importantly, doesn’t involve anybody of the opposite sex except me :D

Here’s one of my favorite lomo pics; taken with holga, film cross-processed(as if i know what this means! :lol: )

HIS New Toys Are Coming

On: July 30th, 2008 at 4:03 pm | In: uncategorized

“The philosophy of toys: “all children talk to their toys; the toys become actors in the great drama of life, scaled down inside the camera obscura of the childish brain” – Charles Baudelaire

I recently got bitten by the ebay-bug — in the butt — right where my wallet is located!!! And it still hurts like h&!!! Kelly has paypal. That made it so easy. Let me correct that — “had” paypal. Bad trip yang bidding process na yan. Akala mo lang mura pa pero hindi na pala!! “Mura” lang kasi 2nd hand. Sana ayos naman yung “goods” pagdating, kundi iiyak na lang ako. Clue on what they are? Read the quote above ;)

I’ll post pictures when i get them (when my mom arrives this weekend).

Hay!!! Tagal!”

My comment: Babe, correction: Your wallet didn’t receive any spanking at all. Mine did! :D
