I want to go to the beach again.
I want to ride in an airplane (though i’m terrified of flying)
then ride a boat
until I reach the sunny shores of Boracay.
I want to bask in the sun
swim in the ocean
and do a bit of snorkeling on the side.
I want to drink the famous fruit shakes from Jonah’s
maybe eat some ihaw-ihaw,
while having my legs henna-tatooed
I want to see my little boy play in the sand,
and see him swim in the “big water” (as per little foot and the gang
).
*sigh* I want to experience these all over again.
We’re headed to the beach!
We are Boracay bound this coming March and we’re very excited since this will be Manu’s first time on the beach. He’s heard a lot about it from his classmates who’ve gone to Boracay and Palawan so we’re very eager to see his reaction/s when he sets his feet on the surf and sand. Boracay is still our beach of choice because of the convenience in accommodation and the variety of food – its very hard to find food for a picky 4-year old! As much as I’d love to check out Poipu vacation rentals, I think we’ll stick to local beaches first. I’m sure I’d love the 1st class accommodations at Poipu but nothing beats the closeness and convenience of Boracay.
