Would you believe that even faucets can be ordered online?!? I was browsing for a replacement faucet for our master’s bathroom (just to see what current designs look like) and I happened upon Danze Faucets. I think I hit the nail in the head since this site really caters to online shoppers by offering high-end products. I was attracted by a certain design – the Danze Sonora as this is what I usually see among European designs, but without the heavy price tag. I’m so interested in this right now that I’m actually thinking of upgrading even the kitchen faucet with a Danze Kitchen Faucet.

Moving from one place to another is just a drag. I remember when we moved into our condo a couple of years back. We literally had to ask all of my husband’s household help and drivers to assist us in the packing and moving of our stuff. I know we should have ask for “professional” help but my husband insisted that we do it ourselves since he didn’t want to entrust our belongings to people beside those we know. He’d recall how easy it was to do this in the
I have never seen a dishwasher installed in a Filipino home. This is most probably because Filipino households have at least one helper who does the dishwashing for them. But I bet if we do not have helpers, a dishwasher would be a staple in our homes. What brand to buy though? I’ve heard of the
I really enjoyed the trips to several home and interior design depots when we were having our condo unit constructed. I loved picking out colors for the bedroom walls, fabrics for the window curtains, and furniture and fixtures for our rooms. One specific fixture that we spent time on looking for was the hanging lamp. After looking at several light fixtures from a number of stores, I was still undecided. Two years and a baby later, our dining room still lacks this feature. I hope to fill that space up this year though, if I get to see one to my liking.
I’ve always wanted to have an LCD TV inside the master’s bedroom, so when we were offered an excellent deal on the Toshiba, we did not anymore think twice of buying the 32” beauty. I am now thinking of getting another one for the living area, if we come across another good deal. Unlike our LCD TV which was hung on our bedroom wall, this I plan to place on a plasma lift console. Getting both items would cost hundreds of thousands so I really am hoping to chance upon an extremely good offer for both products.
It is truly rewarding to see all your hard work pay off when you witness your dream home finally being realized. I, for one, would love to have a detached unit in the future, especially when we add another baby to our family. I would especially be happy if we could tailor-fit our home to look like one of the homes in Raleigh, NC, or even one of those Charlotte Homes. I don’t know with you, but there’s something about NC Homes that I am drawn to. I guess it’s the idea of living in a hundred acre home located in an exclusive and upscale neighborhood, all of which NC Homes possess.
Gats and I have delayed the purchase of a parking slot since we got our condo unit. The reason? Half a million bucks. That much for a 7 square meter lot. (Though if you compare prices of condominium parking slots within the metro, ours would turn out to be still one of the cheapest) So where do we park our cars if this is the case? We leave them in the open parking space surrounding our building. We have been doing this for the past two years now and until we decide on getting a parking slot, I think a car cover for each would be the best alternative to protect them from our harsh weather conditions.
