Why We Go for High-Definition

Posted in: techie matters

It’s already been more than a year now since we got our HD-ready LCD TV and the truth is we’re very happy with the “investment.”  We consider it an investment since the returns are more than we expected. At the very least, we have way better picture quality when watching and less eye-strain compared to using regular-TV – in a dark room. The picture resolution is the best reason to go for HDTV, as it looks so much better than regular TV. Two, any VCD or DVD we play looks good (using a high-definition player, of course). Mind you, I’m just talking about high resolution. Not yet real HDTV (as they have it in the US) or even blu-ray quality as we have it with current video-players in the market. To each his own I guess.
