To Get My Pre-Pregnancy Bod Back

After waiting for monthssss for a slot that would fit my schedule, I finally found a perfect one.

So two nights ago I attended, for the first time, a full hour of Pilates class. The routine wasn’t totally alien to me since some group exercise instructors at Fitness First (where I used to go; just had my membership frozen) incorporate Pilates in their classes. However there were still some movements that just. makes me want to scream! Oh the burn in the muscles! But when the class was over, I felt good. I wanted more actually.  In fact, I’m already planning on doing it twice a week next month – for quicker results, yah know :D Because I still do dream of having my pre-pregnancy bod back and more :)   I just hope I don’t lose interest in Pilates sooner than later as all the money and effort that I’ll invest in it will just go down the drain.  Wish me luck!

    i’m a huge convert to pilates and i’ve been addicted to it. it helped me tone a lot and i’ve strengthened my core 10-fold with the help of pilates. but i have to remind you, pilates is just for strength and resistance training. it’ll tone you but it doesn’t necessarily mean you will lose the weight. you still need cardio. the perfect combination is 3x a week cardio and 2x a week pilates. :)

    hi grace! yes, i do cardio but just once a week :D i guess that doesn’t help in losing weight much? maybe at least twice a week would do, what do you think? i enrolled in pilates as i heard it’s a good alternative to strength training if your objective is to tone the muscles. i get bored kasi easily when doing weights :)

    how long do i have to do pilates before i see the “tone”? haha.

    once a week lang ako this month but i plan to take the 2x a week class next month. they have a 20% discount promo when you register on jan24
