I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t hear it from the Discovery channel but it appears that the form of martial arts made famous by Bruce Lee was “invented” by a nun. Yup, researchers and martial arts experts attest that the original basis for Bruce Lee’s moves was actually a form of self-defense perfected by this nun. You can just imagine that a few centuries ago self defense products where either swords or thrown objects (gunpowder was founded until the 9^th century, and taser-guns not until 1989), where necessity – the mother of invention – created martial arts as self-defense for close-quarter fighting. Surprisingly true.
