Believe It or Nun

I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t hear it from the Discovery channel but it appears that the form of martial arts made famous by Bruce Lee was “invented” by a nun. Yup, researchers and martial arts experts attest that the original basis for Bruce Lee’s moves was actually a form of self-defense perfected by this nun. You can just imagine that a few centuries ago self defense products where either swords or thrown objects (gunpowder was founded until the 9th century, and taser-guns not until 1989), where necessity – the mother of invention – created martial arts as self-defense for close-quarter fighting. Surprisingly true.

How Convenient

The internet has become so essential that most transactions can now be done online. Imagine applying for a merchant account (or enabling your business to accept credit cards) just by typing the website and clicking a link. A good example is Merchantfocus.com wherein a mouse click to their authorize.net link is already a step towards securing a credit card system. This is the enabling technology preached by Bill Gates more than 5 years ago. How convenient, that is, for sellers.
