Of diet pills, cars crashing, lomography and being an sahm
Posted on 2008 under health and diet, my adoraBOY, the husband |8 Sep
A lot of people have been discouraging me to go ahead with my diet pills plan, but I so want to push through with it — especially when I see my big self on photos. I really want to have my old body back!
~~~
My big girl has been in the repair shop for almost a month now, and I can’t wait until she comes home. See, we crashed her into an unsuspecting taxi a month back. We didn’t notice that the vehicle came to a full stop after it had bumped into another car. Gats was driving our car at 60kph, and while he tried to avoid collision, it couldn’t be avoided. Praise God that we weren’t hurt.
~~~
I accompanied the little boy to school a couple of weeks back while the yaya was resting due to a really bad case of tonsilitis. I enjoyed waking up in the mornings to prepare his baon, give him a bath and dress him up. I enjoyed watching him dance, sing, paint, and play inside the classroom. While at home, I was happy that I got to feed him, give him a nap, and play with him. Sure, we got into fights almost everyday
, and taking care of him was pretty tiring, but I loved being just with him. It was during this week that I found myself saying that I could actually enjoy being a stay-at-home-mom
~~~
The husband is really into this lomography thing. He has purchased several cameras online and shows no signs of stopping. In fact, he surfs the web every day and night for camera finds. And just last week, he asked permission to attend a lomo event this Friday with a bunch of friends. He’s never done anything like this before so this hobby must really mean something to him. I ain’t complaining despite the constant use of my paypal funds :D His hobby is relatively cheap (well, compared with mine
), makes him happy, and most importantly, doesn’t involve anybody of the opposite sex except me
Here’s one of my favorite lomo pics; taken with holga, film cross-processed(as if i know what this means!
i have a holga too! pero ever since fuji in atc stopped selling 120 film (at nagsara na rin), di ko na sha nagamit. where does your husband get his film (yoko rockwell, they sell it for 395pesos! exagg).
hi vans! yeah, thanks for the insurance. lugi na nga insurance company sa amin sa dami ng accidents for the past couple of months. but despite the number of vehicular accidents, i’m very glad walang nasasaktan
kakaloka talaga siguro kapag full time sa anak. lalo na kung kasing kukulit ng boys natin!
psst, kelly, pakitanong nmn k gats kung ok lang ba yung holga starter kit, kung worth ba? saka i want sana yung yellow (or blue) effect, parang film na ini-slip sa camera/lens, ok din ba yun? beginner pa lang ako ha.
