I usually do this — stand in front of the mirror and take a photo of myself :D — if I am not sure of what piece of clothing to wear. In this case, I was thinking about which Melissa Night to pair with my outfit.

Reno’s Hot August Nights

It’s that time of the year again wherein reno hotels are packed with guests and all the classic car enthusiast come out to show either watch or show off their beauties to the rest of the world. The highlight of the 10-day affair is of course the car-show where vintage 50’s to 60’s cars are paraded and displayed to the public. There are also free concerts for those who prefer the indoors. Whatever your fancy, you’ll be sure to find something to do during the celebration among the regular 800,000 strong attendees.

TODAY, I:

  1. went to and from work alone :( Gats took a leave because he didn’t feel well.
  2. finished the company’s payroll :D That just means that tomorrow, my account will be replenished :)
  3. have to finish my assignments. I’ve a couple that has already expired, and two more which is already due.
  4. was seriously considering about throwing a birthday party for the little boy. The ideas I just read over the internet made me so excited!
  5. updated the photos on our digital frame. Such a cool gadget, this is. I plug and play the photos whenever we have guests around :)
  6. I had 1/4 slice of Figaro club sandwich for lunch. I’m really serious about getting back into shape.

By 5 pounds

Went back to the gym yesterday after a three-week hiatus. I am confident that I would have still maintained my weight after almost a month of zero physical activity so when I stepped on the scale last night, I was surprised to see that the numbers have gone up by 5 pounds!

WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

I never gained this much in my life (well — except when I was pregnant) in a short period of time! This is a huge wake-up call for me. I guess my body isn’t the way it used to be anymore and I really REALLY REALLY should be moving my b*tt and take the pudding off my diet if I want to go back to my pre-pregnancy weight. At this point, I am seriously considering taking weight loss pills to supplement my exercise and diet program. I’ve already asked my doctor about this and she already gave it a go though I am still hesitant. Aside from the fact that the supplements come with a hefty price tag (why don’t they manufacture cheap diet pills?), I’d have to endure the “physical effects” that come with taking it. ;) Thus for now, I am committing myself to going to the gym religiously (say, twice a week? :lol: ok, thrice! :D ), and watching my diet more closely. The diet supplements will, for now, just have to wait.
