I usually do not buy shoes online. I remember buying several pairs from an online store several years back, and I totally regretted when I saw them. Sure, the shoes looked great on pictures, but in real life? Wasn’t crazy over them. I just ended up displaying them on my shoe rack and allowed them to gather dust. After that, I knew online shoe shopping wasn’t for me. But last month (I think), I did it again. Here’s a pair of white gladiators I purchased from an online seller:

It does look okay on my feet right? But I tell you — when I saw them, I knew that I’m never gonna wear them. I didn’t like the make and most of all, the fit was just not right (too tight, straps don’t fit snugly on my ankles).

I hope there won’t be any online shoe purchase despite the myriad of online sellers who sell shoes. Some sell those really gorgeous ones that are sooo me A lot of times I am tempted to buy but when I think of the money that I’ll be wasting if I don’t like the shoes, I just have to restrain.

It’s my 5th month off the pill and I am wondering if I would return to using it. Especially when I just read that hormonal imbalances especially found on patients who were on birth control pills can be the cause of Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). I was surprised when I learned about this as I never knew that such could cause arrhythmias, which may cause sudden cardiac arrest. As far as I know, stress, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cigarette smoking, and excess weight are risk factors, but not hormonal imbalances. I guess I just have to be vigilant and watch more closely the effects of the pill on my body the next time I get back on the regimen.
