Lesson to families traveling with babies (or even toddlers): Do not forget to bring your baby pushchairs during vacation trips unless you are asking for a back ache. We made two trips recently. A Christmas vacation in Singapore and summer vacation in Hongkong. For both, we packed major baby stuff like milk, milk bottles, diapers, bottles, and even a pram, and we never regretted carrying the load through the airport. When your babies need the rest you just plop them down in the pushchairs and they are good to go! :D You will have a better time when you are not traveling with all your kid’s stuff on your shoulders while you are carrying him – believe me it is going to happen (sooner than later :D ). Or if you want to skip carrying a pushchair in the airport and on the airplane, you can always rent one when you get to your destination. This was what we did when we went to Disneyland. Pushing versus carrying? Almost everyone would rather be pushing. The only thing we could not bring was a highchair (for meal times) good thing that most food establishments would have their own highchairs to lend. Can you imagine carrying one when traveling? Overkill!

These are just a few tips for parents who want a fairly easy trip with a little ones in tow. The mommy and daddy (especially) will get to enjoy the trip instead of feeling they’re carrying a load :)
