Never saw him mad. Ever.

He isn’t exactly who you may call Mr. Romantic, but there were a couple of times during our 13 year relationship ( ) that he truly surprised me

He was nervous as hell!

Here’s a tiny bit of the story –

I already had a feeling that he will do the asking on the eve of my birthday. One clue that gave him away was his not asking me what I wanted for my birthday. Sa isip-isip ko, aba, hindi ito nagtatanong ng gusto ko, siguro tatanungin nako nito kung gusto ko nang magpakasal

On the night before my 27th birthday, I scheduled a dinner date with my closest friends despite my suspicions that it might be The Night. For the rest of the evening, Gats kept unusually quiet. On the way home from dinner, he was even more quiet! I knew at that point that I will be the future Mrs. Uy by the end of the evening. And I did.
