Did you ever notice that even the tiangge’ cell-phone shops have credit card swipes nowadays?! I only heard about this when we asked about the cost of PSP’s and the premium mobile phones. Since it really is difficult to carry large amounts these days – and the premium mobile phones really cost so much, some vendors already thought of applying for credit card processing and use of the various cards available. Smart. The cost for usage must be minimal and the benefits ok, as it looks to be paying off since transactions are growing. Good for both the vendor and card companies, bad for the consumer as he can add another set of expense under “outflows.”
