Truth Wins Out Over Tact.

Iris tagged me with this interesting personality quiz, and below are my results:

There’s a lot that this test had to say about my personality (you may read it here if you wish), though I’ll just mention here a few which really hit the bullseye:

  • They have a keen sense of right and wrong, especially in their area of interest and/or responsibility.
  • As do other Introverted Thinkers, ISTJs often give the initial impression of being aloof and perhaps somewhat cold.
  • ISTJs are most at home with “just the facts, Ma’am.”
  • ISTJs are easily frustrated by the inconsistencies of others, especially when the second parties don’t keep their commitments. But they usually keep their feelings to themselves unless they are asked. And when asked, they don’t mince words. Truth wins out over tact.
  • They may have difficulty picking up on emotional needs immediately, as they are presented. Being perfectionists themselves, they have a tendency to take other people’s efforts for granted, like they take their own efforts for granted.
  • In general the ISTJ has a tremendous amount of potential. –> I don’t know about this but it sure is close to my current mantra :D

What’s your personality type, Mich, Aggie, Joey, and Nice?

Manu’s Night Time Regimen

dsc08560.JPG

That’s a picture of the little boy getting cozy on his bed (which used to be our bed before he started monopolizing it :) ) after his night time shower. He’s about ready to go to sleep by this time, though a Winnie The Pooh, Barney, or Sesame Street show is a must before he retires for the day. Another must-have are his pillows. He will demand that we “fix” (aka arrange) his favorite pillows before he cozies up the bed. Oh and there’s the asking for “mimi” (aka milk) even if a lot of times he just sucks on the teats without really drinking the milk :D

My Wonderpets

Cookie.

Mushka.

Saatchi.

They were my favorite pets. We had quite a few back when I was still single and living with my parents, but my favorites were the Shi Tzu’s (they’re sooooo cute sans the attitude) and that particular Cocker Spaniel. They were my little babies back then so I kind of spoiled them a bit by buying more than the usual dog supplies which they require. I remember going to this dog supplies store in our village after office hours, just so I could buy doggie treats for them. I do this up to this day — not for these “babies” anymore but for another baby who is less hairy and with a whole lot more of an attitude :D

A month ago, Gats and I celebrated a wonderful night  together in a quaint bed and breakfast place in Tagaytay, called The Boutique. I am pretty sure all of you have heard about it and a few of you have probably wanted to experience staying at this popular place. Well I did — since the first time I heard about it. And now that I have, I am sooo glad that I did.

So now allow me to share with you our The Boutique experience…

You are Warm and Fuzzy (this wasn’t the first result that I got - it was wistful soul. But when I read the results, the description wasn’t like me at all. I had to re-take the test. :D )

About

It looks like you are someone who’s very down to earth when it comes to love. You tend to be pretty realistic about what makes a lifelong partnership work. You understand the value of forging a love based on friendship, respect and shared values. In fact, often your relationships develop out of friendships and your lover tends to be your best friend. Marriage and children are probably central to your life. As far as you’re concerned, a true relationship is one that matures with time and work. Just make sure you keep the spark of passion alive.

Emotions

You feel most comfortable in a solid relationship based on trust. Although there’s always room for a little passion too. Right now you couldn’t imagine a better place to be. You’re positively glowing with happiness and feeling very secure. Just how you like it.

Perceptions

Home life is really important to you. It is the focus of all the love that you have to give. For you, love is about feeling completely relaxed and comfortable in your own space. Your choice of animal shows that you are a very loyal person. You like to look out for the one you love and have very strong protective instincts.

Aspirations

Love is cuddling up on the sofa with a glass of wine or lounging in bed with the Sunday papers. The physical side of love is essential to you. Touching really helps you to connect with the one you love. You dream of growing old with the one you love. A strong friendship is the secret for a true lovematch. You’re a really social animal (really?!?). It’s really important to you to be with someone who makes you laugh (so true. gats’ sense of humor was what made me fall in love with him. yihee). Having fun is what keeps the magic alive. Once the spark of passion has died down, this is what will truly endure.
