Archives for April, 2008

I used to go to the gym four times a week, mainly because of the several free style aerobic classes my fitness center is offering. Unfortunately, they have cut the number of free style classes to just twice a week and have replaced it classes which I really don’t find stimulating at all. Since this affected my exercise schedule drastically, I am seriously considering taking yoga and pilates classes in lieu of the cancelled classes. But then I learned that these classes are scheduled during work hours, which means it is almost impossible for me to be attend these classes. What if I buy a pilates or yoga dvd instead and just exercise within the comfort of my own home? I don’t know, as I really enjoy doing my exercises in a group. If there’s no improvement in the center’s schedule within the next couple of months, I might consider this option. But until that time comes, I’ll just hang on to my twice a week gym schedule.

Louis Vuitton Embossed Speedy

I love how it’s screaming Vuitton and I love how it does it subtly (?!?). I love that it’s black and I love that it comes with shoulder straps. The only thing that I probably wouldn’t love about this speedy is its price tag.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Watercolor Speedy

Thank goodness for the more affordable version of the watercolor. Although it will still set you back USD1185, it’s definitely easier on the pocket compared to the Monogram Watercolor Speedy Frame. I heard it is due to be released in May, and I am already looking forward to seeing it irl - if I ever get the chance :D

So I probably won’t be getting my hands on those two in the near future, so I am putting my daydreaming efforts into something more realistic  , something that I have already mentioned before on this post. I saw the Joy Boston Bag last week at the Gucci GB4 Store and, dang!, it looked way too cute! Now I’m thinking if I’m gonna go for the purchase. Haaay… too many bags, so little budget… :D

Not Just Yet

I went to the Rockwell Urban Bazaar last night hoping to buy a few accessories to add to my growing collection. There were a lot of choices but there was this gold bracelet with trinkets that caught my eye. It was a lot pricier compared to the others so I thought I’d sleep on it before finally deciding on purchasing the bling. More so, I already want to limit myself from buying gold jewelry as gold is not my auspicious element according to my feng shui reading. Bummer isn’t it? Gold really has this kind of “oomph!” compared with silver and other precious metals, in my opinion. It is also a great investment product especially when converted into coin or ingot form. So should I start selling my humble collection of gold jewelries? Nah. I better hold on to them for now as they might (and would probably) increase in value xx years from now.  And then I start selling. :D

10. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should ‘handle with care.
You’re seen as vain, self-centred, and who is extremely dominant..
Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don’t always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who’s quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who’s constantly in the centre of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who’ll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical.
They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who’s extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that
trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn’t want to get involved with anyone or anything!
They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don’t exist. So me people think you’re boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren’t.

TV-Deprived

I am an American Idol fan, and have watched every episode of each season since Season 2 – until now. In fact, it is not only this show that I’m not able to watch, but all of my other favorite shows as well. The reason? MANU. He insists on watching his own favorite shows, namely, Winnie The Pooh, Barney, Mickey’s Clubhouse (is that what it’s called?), and the mom and dad just can’t say no. We tried leaving him inside the bedroom and watch TV at the other room, but he wants to watch his shows with the both of us beside him! So now we’re now seriously considering getting laptop computers, so we could finally have time to watch the shows that we were deprived of for the past several months :D

Thank God for My Friends

I am very lucky to have been with friends who never influenced me to drink, smoke, nor do drugs (I must admit that I did try smoking during college but immediately dropped the habit as my body couldn’t take the effects). Otherwise, I would have probably taken in the habit and probably have done a Lindsay Lohan (i.e., entering an alcohol rehab center). I hope that my kids would have the same type of friends that I’ve had. This would mean less headaches for the mom and dad :D

Back in Highschool

Tagged by Mich here. Pasensya na at halos lahat ng sagot ko ay “Can’t remember.”

THINK BACK TO 4th year high school… Let’s see how much you remember and how much you regret..

What section were you?
Diamond
Who were your seatmates?
Can’t remember.

Still remember your English teacher?
Hmmm… Can’t remember… :D

What was your first class?
Can’t remember.

Only the Best for Our Kid

Manu’s Little Gym ends next week and we’re already contemplating whether we should enroll him for another quarter or to already consider a playschool environment for him (this is why we tried the summer camp). Granted that our son is only 2 year 1 month old today we are already pondering about this and the other forms of investment we will be making for him in the coming years: playschool, pre-school, grade school – the list goes on and on!!. We never thought that being parents was this hectic – you’re already thinking years ahead. There’s this “want” to give anything and everything you can possibly can so our boy is well equipped for a bright future. But to do that amidst the rising prices of gasoline and commodities is really a challenge. Heck, we might even need to consult someone who can offer investment management advice just so we can balance our checkbooks. But I guess that’s really the sacrifice we give for our children so they in turn can give it to their children.
