A Different Kind of Online Purchase

If your planning to get a new health insurance then you better “shop” for one first. It’s true. These days, even health insurance quotations can be made online. Do an online search and you may find Kaiser Health Insurance Plans which offers quality medical insurance coverage at affordable prices. Of course, this method of applying online for a health insurance is still uncharted territory here in the Philippines but it will definitely catch on since it educates and informs without costs – which is really the reason why we shop first before buying. Since the quotes are US –based we can really only learn from it and apply it to what we should ask from local providers. ‘Cause whether it’s a developed or a 3rd world country, health care IS health care.

Memories

A couple of months ago our computer crashed and we were left wondering whether we can still recover the priceless number of photos of our trips and of course and little baby boy. According to the shop where my husband took our unit, the hard drive isn’t spinning right – whatever that means. What do I know about Hard Drives and Operating Systems?! I know that you need both for all the functions of the computer to work but the technicality of it all is lost on me. All I need is the power-on button, mouse and keyboard, and I’m set. Luckily we were able to recover all our files! Two things learned out of all this: (1) always back-up your important files either in another drive or through dvd’s, and (2) have your favorite pictures printed, sorted and filed the old-fashioned way to keep all those memories safe!
