30 and Single

How would you feel if you are a young, attractive female in her early 30’s, a top manager in one of the country’s largest companies, financially independent, belong to a good social circle, BUT has never had a relationship? Frustrated I bet. I would know as somebody close to me who is in her 30’s, has not experienced being in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. As much as I want to set her up with a nice man on a blind date, I could not because I just could not find someone who would meet her expectations. I sometimes say to this friend that maybe her future mate isn’t here (in the Philippines); maybe she’ll find Mr. Right in another country. She thinks so too. Oftentimes when she comes home from one of her trips, I secretly wish that she’d call me and say, “Kelly, I found Him!” Oh that would be the day. But until that day comes, I am afraid that she will continue to sulk in single town. And I, along with our friends, really do not want to see that. There are times when I feel like suggesting that she visit online dating sites for singles. You know, just try it out. Would you if you were in her shoes?

I crashed into the world of blogging with little knowledge about it. I had several tries before my first blogsite was put up. The first two tries were with Blogspot, but I found the interface not so user-friendly (as I had such a difficult time understanding every bit of instruction). I almost ended my “dream” of having a blogsite of my own, and then I tried Wordpress. Thanks to its beginner, user friendly dashboard and great customer support, I was able to start my own blogsite. And before I knew it, I was already looking for a web hosting company which could publish my very own domain! Now I’m so into blogging that almost half of my day is spent just reading blog after blog, and writing a few paragraphs of my own on my own site.
