Building my own website was already too technical for me, so it would seem that having my own online store would be just impossible. Just knowing where to begin will probably drive me nuts! I would most probably hire somebody to set-up everything to keep me sane. But. I heard that setting up a shopping cart alone could cost thousands so I better think twice about hiring a third party to do the setting up for me. Then I bumped into ashop commerce which provides affordable shopping cart software solutions to their customers. Great! This would bring expenses down to a reasonable level. You see, they have several shopping cart software pricing packages that customers’ can choose from. These packages include features such as hosting, daily store backups, ssl security, free upgrades, user statistics, free unlimited tech support and a lot more. There’s also a 10-day free trial if you choose one of their packages. They also have optional products and services if your budget permits a little more stretching. But as of now, mine doesn’t so I guess I have to go with the basic package first.

Show Day at The Little Gym

“look ma, i could walk on the balance beam with daddy holding my left hand only!”
“hanging on the bars is one my my favorite skills to do!”
I have never been to a casino all my life (probably because I do not have any gambling money to spare
), but all this hype about online casinos is just making me so curious. So I went to this website called Pro360 and tried to learn a few things about online casinos.
Woohooo!!!!!
Our company had its last day of operations for the year last Friday, while our Christmas Party just ended last night. I could finally breathe! I wasn’t able to update my blog as much as I wanted to for the past couple of weeks (add to that not grabbing as much opps as I want), so the next few days would be a perfect opportunity to post, post, and post!
I’ll be posting our weekend pics and party pics later(para may pictures naman dito - the hubby commented he finds my site boring dahil wala daw pictures). Meanwhile, I’ll give myself a relaxing bath first, have lunch, and head to my parents’ place to pick up some stuff.
See you later.
I have always wanted to have my boutique featuring my own creations. But I have yet to take the first step for this life-long dream to be realized. Still, I have already made plans in my mind on how to go about the business, and one of these plans includes selling my merchandise online. Doing this would require my website to have shopping cart where customers can do their online shopping.
I have to admit that even before Gats popped The Big Question, I was already window-shopping around for Engagement Rings. It’s just a bit disappointing that I have just recently discovered My Solitaire, an online store where one can purchase various types of jewelries, some of which are rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants. If I knew about them during the time that time, I would have probably purchased my engagement ring and even my wedding ring through their website since they have a lot of rings to choose from. Anyway, since that part of my life is over and done with, I guess I just have to settle for another type of jewelry.
Among the several jewelry items that are featured on the website, the Black Diamond rings caught my attention. I have a few diamond pieces, but not one of them is black. It seems that black diamonds are in vogue these days as celebrities are most often seen wearing them. I think this does not need further explaining since the black diamond really is a head turner. This makes me think of adding one in my humble collection. But I still am having second thoughts as I also would want to get my hands on their Sapphire Rings. Before My Solitaire, I honestly was not aware that these stones come in different colors – pink, yellow, red, blue, and even orange. And may I say that each is very pretty. Among my favorites are the Pink Sapphire Solitaire Wave, the Diamond and Pink Sapphire Silver Ring, and the 0.68 Ct Yellow Sapphire Ring in 14k White Gold. So what do you think? Should I get a black diamond or pink sapphire? I should really be deciding soon as I am also planning on buying unique Diamond Pendants for my white gold necklace. The 0.12 Ct Diamond Sandal is such a cutie, while the Diamond Initial is a must-have. I want them both! Good thing that My Solitaire provides interest-free payment plans. In this way, I just may be able to buy all of the jewelry pieces I want! Aside from the interest-free payment plan that they offer, they could also tailor fit the product according to my budget. So may my budget be as low as $100 or as high as $5000, My Solitaire can provide me several Diamond rings to choose from. Add to this are the free shipping, free gift packaging, and lifetime buy back and trade-up.
We’re going on a five-day vacation to Singapore in two weeks. This will be Manu’s first plane ride, and I am a bit (ok ok maybe a lot!) anxious on how the trip is going to turn out. We have purchased a stroller two months ago in preparation for this trip, but we have barely used it since Manu just wants to play with it. You see, instead of riding on it, he wants to be the one carrying it around. Take note that he does not want anybody touching it when he does this. He gets irritated and cries when he sees mommy, daddy, or yaya touching it. One time, he even threw a fit when his dad tried “assisting” him in pushing the Chicco stroller around ATC. Because of this, we avoided bringing the stroller to the mall, and just let him walk or be carried by the three of us. Of course we couldn’t do without a stroller during our trip, but the daddy already told me that if Manu makes “inarte” because of the stroller, he would just leave it at the hotel. This made me think of buying a harness for the little boy as an alternative to the stroller (well, and also because my mom keeps suggesting it too). I really didn’t want those types that I see in Rustan’s so I requested Gay, my sister in-law, to buy the Eddie Bauer 2-in-1 Harness Buddy for Manu specifically for our upcoming trip. It was available at target.com but since the Target store is only a few blocks away from where my SIL lived, she just purchased it there. A few days after my request, she told me that she was able to buy the last piece and showed it to me via webcam. Here’s a picture of Manu’s new buddy:
I just hope it arrives before our departure. And I hope Manu uses it! Else, pagod-pagod si mommy and daddy
I have recently learned about Smorty from other moms who get paid for blogging. Smorty is a service where advertisers pay bloggers by giving an opinion on the advertisers’ product or service. Smorty is also a venue where blog advertising is made easy for advertisers, and earning, just a post away for bloggers.
Since a lot of the moms I have talked with have given positive feedback on Smorty, I decided to give it a try. So I tried registering my blogsite a few days ago, and was so happy when I got a reply from them in just a couple of days saying that my blog has been approved. Neat! I didn’t have to wait for weeks to grab some opps and earn a little money! And do you know that they pay their members weekly? That’s even neater! But what I really like about all of this is that I get to choose subjects that really interest me. Get paid to blog about the things I love? Now this is probably the neatest.
I’ve been going around my favorite shops for the past couple of weeks in search for this year’s Christmas Party Outfit. No, we don’t have a themed party, I just want to dress up on such occasions
I thought it’d be easy for me to see one at Mango, (where I had bought gorgeous tops for past parties) or at another favorite shop, Zara. But after going to these shops almost every other day (hoping new stocks would arrive), nothing caught my fancy. Last night, I went to Tyler and tried on almost everything inside their stockroom but I didn’t like any of the pieces that I fit. I was getting a bit worried as I only have a few days left for shopping. And then I decided to go to Debbie Co’s shop along Jupiter. Honestly, I was thinking I would go out of her shop empty handed because when I went to the Urban Rockwell Bazaar to see her stuff, I was unimpressed. Still, I was confident that Debbie wouldn’t fail me so I decided to brave through Buendia traffic to see her.
I love Debbie and her staff. They recognize me (Debbie when we saw each other at Korea Garden, and her staff when we met at the bazaar) even if I had just made a single purchase from them. So when I was there earlier, they treated me as any customer would want to be treated. Anyways, miss …(gosh I forgot her name already!) immediately assisted me and showed me several pieces from the rack. After picking three pieces - two tops and a dress, I was led to their fitting room. I immediately loved the first one I tried, but I had to loose 10 pounds to fit in that shirt! But since I liked it so much, miss (?) told me they’d do a bit (really?!) of adjusting if I decide to get it. But they didn’t need to do that because when I put on piece number two, I was in love! Everything about it was perfect - style, color, and fit (well, almost. debbie suggested to alter the fit just a teeny weeny bit). Aylabiiit!!! Now I just have to find the perfect shoes to match and I’m all set. I’m so happeee…
Our family, with some of our close friends, is planning to spend some time out of the country next year. This is why I have already started searching for the best travel and hotel accommodation deals for us.
