The search is almost over

I’ve been going around my favorite shops for the past couple of weeks in search for this year’s Christmas Party Outfit. No, we don’t have a themed party, I just want to dress up on such occasions :) I thought it’d be easy for me to see one at Mango, (where I had bought gorgeous tops for past parties) or at another favorite shop, Zara. But after going to these shops almost every other day (hoping new stocks would arrive), nothing caught my fancy. Last night, I went to Tyler and tried on almost everything inside their stockroom but I didn’t like any of the pieces that I fit. I was getting a bit worried as I only have a few days left for shopping. And then I decided to go to Debbie Co’s shop along Jupiter. Honestly, I was thinking I would go out of her shop empty handed because when I went to the Urban Rockwell Bazaar to see her stuff, I was unimpressed. Still, I was confident that Debbie wouldn’t fail me so I decided to brave through Buendia traffic to see her.

I love Debbie and her staff. They recognize me (Debbie when we saw each other at Korea Garden, and her staff when we met at the bazaar) even if I had just made a single purchase from them. So when I was there earlier, they treated me as any customer would want to be treated. Anyways, miss …(gosh I forgot her name already!) immediately assisted me and showed me several pieces from the rack. After picking three pieces - two tops and a dress, I was led to their fitting room. I immediately loved the first one I tried, but I had to loose 10 pounds to fit in that shirt! But since I liked it so much, miss (?) told me they’d do a bit (really?!) of adjusting if I decide to get it. But they didn’t need to do that because when I put on piece number two, I was in love! Everything about it was perfect - style, color, and fit (well, almost. debbie suggested to alter the fit just a teeny weeny bit). Aylabiiit!!! Now I just have to find the perfect shoes to match and I’m all set. I’m so happeee…

Hotel Reservations

Our family, with some of our close friends, is planning to spend some time out of the country next year. This is why I have already started searching for the best travel and hotel accommodation deals for us.

I chanced upon the Hotel Reservations site while I was doing my research. I liked that it provided me several flight, hotel, and vacation packages to choose from. Not to mention, the competitive rates they offer. They could even guarantee that they have the lowest special internet rates online. This is why I am seriously considering booking our travel through them.

On Blogging

1. How long have you been blogging?
Less than a year. I set up my own blogsite just this March.

2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
I tried putting up a blog back in 2004 when I was planning my wedding. I was inspired by the brides of an e-group where I belonged (w@w) so I tried setting up one where I could also document the progress of my wedding. My initial attempts failed because I found the blog thing too technical at that time. When my son had his first birthday party, the inspiration came back. Thus, my blog was born.

3. Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun.
I honestly wasn’t aware that you could make money by blogging when I started this whole thing. I just wanted to share pieces of my life to fellow bloggers. But when I learned that paid blogging can be lucrative, I decided to jump into the bandwagon.

4. Tell me 3 things you LOVE about being online.
- Countless of information
- Gained a lot of friends
- Paid blogging

5. Tell me 3 things you STRUGGLE within the online world.
- Sometimes (more like a lot of times?) interferes with my day job
- Updates on the latest trends make me want to have what’s “in” most of the time
- Pressure to be a better writer at each post

Nice, I know it took me so long to answer this tag, but hey, better late than never huh? :D

Quick and Easy Loans

As previously mentioned, I am not really crazy about acquiring loans mainly because of the tiresome process I have to go through before getting an approval. This was until I learned how easy it is nowadays to apply for Loans. Would you believe that one can apply for a Personal Loan even if he has no collateral to offer? In addition, these loans can be had even if one has poor credit history such as bankruptcy or foreclosure. Now who could resist an offer like that? But what I am really interested in is the Auto Loan.  Gats and I would love to have another brand new vehicle, this time, for him.
